Keep Your Handcrafted Bar Beautiful, Longer
Illuminated Haven soaps are handcrafted in small batches. Proper care helps your handmade soap dry between uses and last longer.
How to Care for Your Handmade Soap
- Wet your skin and soap bar.
- Work the bar into a rich lather using your hands, a washcloth, or a soap saver.
- Gently cleanse and rinse well.
- After use, place your soap on a well-draining soap dish or soap saver.
- Keep the bar out of standing water.
- Allow the soap to dry thoroughly between uses.
- For even longer bar life, consider rotating between two bars.

Illuminated Haven candles are hand poured with care using premium coconut-apricot wax. Proper candle care encourages a cleaner, more consistent burn and helps you enjoy your candle safely.
Before & During Every Burn
- Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn.
- Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface when possible.
- Avoid burning your candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep burning candles away from drafts, flammable objects, and heat sources.
- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
- Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
About Our Coconut-Apricot Wax
Coconut-apricot wax is a premium wax known for its smooth appearance, slow burn, and luxurious candle experience.
Because this wax burns differently from some traditional candle waxes, you may occasionally notice a small amount of wax remaining along the inside walls of the vessel during the earlier stages of the candle.
This can be a normal characteristic of a slower-burning wax. As the candle continues through its burn cycle, the melt pool may gradually catch up and consume more of the wax along the vessel.
Slight variations in the appearance of the wax do not necessarily affect the quality or performance of your handcrafted candle.
Candle Safety
- Never burn a candle when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.
- Discontinue use if the vessel becomes damaged, cracked, or excessively hot.
- Do not move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is still liquid.
