On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the full surface to prevent tunneling — an individual session of about 3 to 4 hours typically allows the melt pool to develop edge-to-edge. Trim all three wicks to ¼ inch before each burn. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep away from drafts, children, and pets.
